Distribution Center Data Sources

Play Process File (CSV) A file reporting how GSIS calculates a play. Each file represents a single play, in a comma delimited text format. Current version: 2.6, as of June 4, 2015	documentation (Adobe Acrobat format)
Cumulative Statistics Report (STAT, STATXML, and STATXMLALL) Three versions of a report that contains summary team and individual statistics about the game. One file is a comma-delimited text file, two of the files are in XML format. Current version: 1.14, as of June 8, 2015	documentation (Adobe Acrobat format)
Game Roster (ROSTER) A file containing the roster and player statuses for both teams, in a fixed-width text format. Current version: 3.0, as of April 9, 2002	documentation (Adobe Acrobat format)
Game Roster XML (ROSTERXML) A file containing the roster and player statuses for both teams, in an XML format. Current version: 1.1, as of June 12, 2002	documentation (MS Word 6.0 format)
Play-by-Play (PBP) A file containing full textual play descriptions for the entire game

In-Stadium Data Sources

Real-time Stats Exporter Program This program is run on one of the GSIS laptops in the stadium and sends game stats to one or more computers in the stadium (i.e. scoreboard, network truck, kiosks, etc.). Season-to-date stats and out-of-town scores are also sent via this program. Current version: 1.0, as of September 13, 2002
